FAQ
Questions people ask first.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe what you want, and you check the result through screenshots, a recording and a link to try it. The code is there if someone wants it, but nobody has to read it.
Where does the work happen?
On your own computers. You install a small program with one line, and AI agents run there with your own Claude Code subscription. Each card keeps its record in OnlyLanes: the agent's notes, its results and the changes it saved.
Can anything ship without me?
OnlyLanes adds an agent's work to your product only when a person presses Accept. Until then the agent works on its own copy of the code. On a computer with full access, an agent can do anything you can do on that computer, so protect your main version the way you would for any teammate. On a computer with limited access, it can only save its own copy.
What if the agent is stuck or needs a decision?
It asks on the card, with options and the one it recommends. You get a notification and answer from your phone.
Where does my code live?
In your own Git repository, wherever it is today. Or OnlyLanes keeps it for you, if you do not have one yet.
